Ti Quan Yins are some of China's most famous teas. They are from Southern Fujian Province, and it was in these hills that teas were first rolled into small balls. That allowed the teas to slowly oxidize and slowly develop these great flavors.
Lung Chings are famous worldwide and are known as some of the best Chinese green teas. Our Lung Ching is made by a respected producer two hours beyond the traditional area. The small green leaves make for a brew that has a mild and sweet, almost nut-like flavor. Lung Ching teas are often in demand, so the price is dictated by the market.
HarSha is a black tea blend Mike developed as a fulfilling breakfast tea. It is a blend of extraordinary broken tippy Assam to give body and depth and muscatel 2nd flush Darjeeling to add a little dark fruity flavor. HarSha is a Hindi word from India, meaning "bliss." Mike thinks you will agree.
We are proud to be the tea blenders for some of London's luxury 5-star hotels. Through our relationships, we have learned the taste preferences of the British. We know they like their tea strong, and indeed, this one is! An English-style English Breakfast tea, Mayfair Breakfast, is made to be served with milk and sugar.
Our exceptional scented Yin Hao Jasmine begins with a very flavorful Pouchong (an almost green tea)—then, for seven nights fresh jasmine flowers are interspersed among the tea leaves. The dry leaves absorb the floral essence, preserving it for your brewing pleasure.
A premium Irish Breakfast tea benefiting the Ancient Order of Hibernians. The Ancient Order of Hibernians has helped their fellow Irish in America for many years. They commissioned this tea as a way to raise money for this worthy cause. The AOH will receive a portion of the sales of this tea to help further their charitable and scholarship programs. The tea that is most drunk in Ireland comes from Kenya, so we developed a strong tea from two tea estates in Kenya. It can handle the milk and sugar that most Irish like to add. Slainte!

Our Citrus Blend was inspired by our French friend, Francois Payard, a famous pastry chef. He wanted a tea blend featuring three types of citrus fruits. We blended black teas with natural bergamot, grapefruit, and orange flavors to create a sophisticated delight.
Sally's Secret is our celebration of life, love, and fine tea. We present this aromatic blend in memory of our co-worker Sally, whose expert blending, steady friendship, and love of all things pink we miss each day. Enjoy a cup of this lovely blend of our Earl Grey and pink rosebuds with a friend.
Matcha is green tea. The leaves are shaded for weeks before harvest, then dried and stone-ground into a fine powder, so you whisk the leaf into water instead of steeping it.
Tea has been our family's work for three generations. John Harney started the company in 1983, and we still follow his one rule: only buy and blend teas that make us smile. We have sourced Japanese green teas for more than forty years, and we buy this matcha from family growers who have been making it for generations in Kagoshima season after season. The art of making matcha is a centuries-old craft in Japan. We lean on our relationships with those Japanese families and hold it to the same standard as every tea we sell.
It is grown in Kagoshima, on the southern island of Kyushu. This is the idea John started with, an everyday luxury in a bowl: certified organic, shade grown, and priced for everyday enjoyment.
Light yet bursting with flavors, Berry Young exults in the gentle grassy notes and floral aroma of Mutan White tea blended with Strawberry Kiwi Fruit Tea. A natural strawberry kiwi flavor adds a touch of depth that's both tart and sweet; lastly, the addition of goji berries and rose petals enhances the fresh, warming layers of the infusion—a perfect companion to a bright morning and clear breeze.
Honeybush grows wild in the fynbos highlands northeast of Cape Town, South Africa, where harvesters collect it by hand from uncultivated bushes rather than managed gardens. Like tea, the freshly cut stems are bruised and allowed to oxidize, a process that deepens the color and coaxes out the plant's natural sweetness. The result is a bourbon-brown tisane with warm notes of toasted grain and dark honey, gentle enough for any time of day. Caffeine-free and naturally sweet, it needs no sugar to feel like a treat. For those who enjoy rooibos, this is its quieter, slightly sweeter neighbor from the same wild landscape.
Organic Sencha is the real deal. We were happy to find a nice-tasting green tea that was truly organic and truly a Sencha. We are big fans of Matsuda and his Sencha. When we learned that this tea was from the same valley, Wazuka, we were very excited. Organic teas are very important to some tea drinkers. However, finding Japanese-produced organic teas can sometimes be challenging. Teamakers often feel that they can't make good tea without adding nitrogen. Nitrogen is present in every amino acid, including those in your body. Amino acids give Sencha their body, or umami, and they also add sweetness to the brew. However, the makers of this tea get by with natural fertilizers. Yes, the tea is a bit weaker than other Senchas, but is still very nice.
Viennese Earl Grey is a graceful variation inspired by our friend Andrew Demmer's Teehaus in Vienna. It has a Darjeeling base, so it is lighter than other Earl Grey versions. You'll still notice and enjoy the lovely lemony notes from the bergamot.
